Breguet: Broken watchwinder

The winder for my 5327 have eaten quite a few batteries in the past 3 years and occasionally stopped to then restart again. In other words, it has been a bit flimsy. Now it has stopped all the way and a search on the internet doesnt look promising. Here referring to an article from Orbita that menti

Breguet: postscript

I chanced on this string in a global search and thought I'd update you all. I havent acquired any watches since the perpetual; I remain satiated to this point. The watch is still a stranger, like a romance you cannot quite comprehend. This is a love relationship that will last a lifetime. It is so c

Breguet: 5327 Perpetual Calendar article

Horological Meandering: Lange 1

Well, I am actually talking about the Lange 1 but I pretty much find it a deal breaker that it is manual. It may be charming to have to care for it and wind it daily but since I have a busy life and often travel - and I intend to use my other watches as well - manual just doesn't fit me. Next on my

Horological Meandering: Chopard Rattrapante

Personally I'm steaming over the limited edition (500) steel Chopard Mille Miglia Rattrapante I purchased in 2005 which has found its way into the 2007 selection in redgold with a note that it also comes in steel. I haven't seen the steel version yet but I'd hold that the redgold which I have seen i
