Horological Meandering: The production size may be slightly smaller.

The lug to lug distance is indeed slightly too big. That mistake appeared a bit too late before the show when Victoire first tried the prototype. I think some redesigned lugs will be proposed for the production model. There is a margin to play with in the lug design. Not the top part, the three-step

Horological Meandering: Beat rate. Beat error is adjusted differently.

While those pins allow the adjustment of the active hairspring length (slow/fast), the beat error is adjusted by setting the angular position of the balance wheel compared to the lever. The roller jewel that is part of the balance wheel should be aligned with the fork from the lever and the lever in

Watchmakers are not really comfortable playing with ultrathin since parts are trimmed down at the maximum making bridges and parts in general very soft. Skeletonized make this even more critical. But well, as long as you have it serviced by J

Independents: I might be biased

since I know Sylvain. But he's truly a good guy as well as a skilled watchmaker. He got Meilleur Ouvrier de France honour with his chronograph and this is not a light thing to get. Making a chronograph is probably one of the most complicated thing. And mirror finished steel parts are jaw dropping. I
