Breguet Marine - perfect for the hot summer

We have 365 days of summer in Singapore. But this period will be the hottest few months in the year with temperatures hitting 33 to even 34 or 35 degrees celsius at the peak. The humidity makes it feel like 40 degrees at times! A bracelet watch is good fo...

Absolute beautiful.

I've tried this on at my local AD. The watch itself is stunning, it was indeed the appearance of the long lugs that stop me from getting it. Robin, do enjoy your summer time, which practically means everyday in Singapore, I think. ^_^

Thank you Luis!

I will also do some sea or pool shots with this watch. It likes to get wet esp at the pool! Enjoy your summer too in Taiwan! Maybe I will get the bracelet for my montblanc star worldtime for the summer too :) Cheers Robin

It is not that common to see a date nicely integrated.

And it is a good thing to promote this Watch, which should deserve mre interest and discussions. An elegant alternative to more oftne discussed diving watches such oas, of course, the Rolex Submariner, Blancpain Fifty Fathoms, Omega Seamaster, and so on.....

Thank you Nicolas my friend

Agree this watch is too seldom discussed! :) Its beauty and robustness combined is something I like a lot A rare combination of elegance and sportiness. Glad you like it too. :) Cheers Robin

Lovely watch

Lovely watch sir. I just love the steeped case and the way the light reflection on angles give it another completely different look. If you look at it perpendicularly, it's a completely different effect than looking at it from a 45 degree angle. That comb...

Ah we have the same watch!

Yes it's beautiful, esp the dial (and the blued hands and indices) on how it plays with light. Yes the middle part of the bracelet does get some scratches but they don't bother me as they are a very small part of the bracelet (very small proportion of the...

great shot of wonderful dial and hands

nice photos - the blued Hands Show up nicely. I was just wondering...wouldn't a rubber strap be even more comfortable in the Singapore weather conditions? regards Stefan

Yes the rubber strap should be even more comfortable

But with my small wrist and the long lugs of the Breguet Marine, I feel the bracelet is a better option for me (looks wise) as the lugs would look less obvious (being 'concealed' by the bracelet part cover the gap between the lugs). Glad you like this wat...

Great pics ! Thanks ! Is the movement interesting ? It is robust enough for a sport watch ? Best regards.

Is not the most interesting movement I have to be honest but it is well finished enough with a solid gold rotor - good enough for that price point. In terms of robustness, I have worn it for swims, been in playgrounds both outdoors and indoors with my you...

I have had this watch for three and half years, still functioning well. No complaint.
