Hi, Just wanted to share a watch I got to see last week. Breguet Classic complications, Extra-thin tourbillon automatic movement with power reserve. I was not allowed to remove the plastic on this one, but I think it might be worthwhile to share this on...

I also had a close look.

I think that the movement is quite impressive but there are two (three) reasons why I did not consider this watch: First of all, I think it's 2-4 mm too big. Secondly, I agree with you that the power reserve is taking too much attention. (Thirdly, till no...

The beauty of the Tourbillon, I understand....

But, my budget will never allow one... Agree, this one would have been better in 38 - 40 mm. Best Blomman

I will answer with another question: Is automatic the future for high end watches?

I am in the camp of NO. You cannot beat this one. Best, Nicolas ...

Can I "camp" with you?! ;)

I agree that I would rather see manual movements on high-end pieces... But I fear we are a dying bread... As for the watch, I would prefer a one color case! But yes, it is stunning! Best Blomman

Yes, a beauty!

Pure Daniel Roth dna :-) Very rare two tones one, beautiful. Hands up in front of one of the earlier and still beautiful tourbillon! And here is mine in a more conventional yg case. ...

Indeed this is huge power reserve...

A great watch.

This is really a great watch and the peripheral winding mass (which can also be found in the C.F.Bucherer movement) is a very clever way to keep the movement flat without filling too much space like with a micro-rotor. I'm sure that we will find in the fu...

Beautiful wristshot, Fx!

Yes, I think so to... thank you for adding your shot! :) Best Blomman

I don't know....

If the future of thin automatic winding movements is the peripheral winding mass, some other example already existed in the past but had some technical issue and was quickly abandoned, nowadays some more new iterations of this kind are popping up (for exa...

That's a beauty! :) [nt]
