The Los Angeles Breguet Dinner

The Los Angeles Breguet Boutique generously honors ThePuristS with its
inaugurald inner held inside the boutique.
Located in the fabulous Disneyesque mini-European street of No. 2 Rodeo (at the corner of Rodeo Drive and Wilshire) the LA Breguet Boutique had its soft opening about 2 months ago.
ThePuristS were greatly honored to co-host the first reception and dinner held inside the boutique itself. The event was superbly done, and hopefully, the first of many such events.
Mr. Rodolphe Schultess, Montres Breguet International Vice President of Sales was present to share details of the new novelties presented in Basel 2006, as well as providing insight into the history, current very healthy status of the brand, and a glimpse into the very bright, promising future.

our own lovely Peggy, my "little sister" who drove in from another state just to attend this function; she is a watch Purist of the highest order and yes, she is "actually" a professor, even if she looks like a college freshman!
(I've heard MBA students line up to register in her class just to bask in her beauty and charm during lectures... )
After many years of anticipation, I finally get the chance to meet lovely Purist spouse Inessa Polushkin. I missed the chance to meet her over 5 years ago, when she wasn't able to join her husband David at one of the first local LA watch aficionados' get together. Ever since then, I kept hearing David gush about how beautiful and supportive and understanding (hint, hint, hint ) his wife is. And after meeting Mrs. Polushkin, I can understand why David is so charmed.
Watch guys, please note: wives that "understand" make life INFINITELY easier... David is indeed a very lucky man...
Of course, a Purist HUSBAND is a great thing too...Prof. Peggy was lucky
enough to start with a supportive spouse (Prof. Sunil Wahal) who,
over the years, has become a watch aficiondo himself. And guess what was on
his wrist?

We were very lucky to be graced with three PuristS' spouses this time - long
time PuristS and a couple
with exquisite taste, Ping and Anthony Tsai appreciate the beauty of Breguet
on her delicate wrist.
