Would like some advice from forum members!

Oct 29, 2009,14:32 PM

I own a few fine pieces of Swiss watches like Rolex, Jaegar and Vacheron but not Breguet.  I visited an AD yesterday and looked at some Breguet's watches.  There is no doubt the craftmanship is first rate.  And I am planning to buy one though I also like some Pateks.  I like the Breguet more and plan to buy one in WG.

Can members here tell me some of their experiences with Breguet.  Is it reliable?  etc  So far,all of  the Rolexes, Vacheron and Jaegar I own are very reliable.  a Girard Perregaux Chronograph I owned a few years ago gave me trouble from week one, and has to send back for warranty repair and that was why I sold it eventually .

I am not saying bad things about GP, I am just telling my experience.  And that is why I ask for reliability advice here before I commit early next year.

Thank you for any input!

We've had it for almost 5 years or so, and it hasn't broken once. In terms of reliablity as a brand, it's probably the same as with all the major brands - you'll have your stories of some breaking on the 1st day, and that's just part of the luxury watch o...
