+1 on the " bit wasted" backside for more sight.. BUT- I like the front , a lot ..

.. so am I for this almost " low-key" Tourbi, with the beutifully balanced main dial. above
It is nice, that one sees the Tourbi ( isn't it ?) also from the back, but some vista
more wouldn't have hurt, despite the missed opportunity, just taken
by the mainplate, exactly as you described wink

- I never have been to a Breguet Boutique yet, guess I'll have to do that
one day, preferably in Paris, so that I might see the Breguet museum, as well.

Or elsewhere - eg. at my home city here, where the Boutique is still rather small,
but has expanded, (mostly because of clients from arabic, asiatic and / or other eastern countries, such as Russia., just naming one. I guess, if any Tourbi, then one from JLC , but luckily for me and my banker, that is far beyond reach. - Out of curiosity ( if allowed here - if not, dear Mod, edit it out ): am I right,
that this Breguet Tourbi is also way above, lets say the Master Tourbillion;
I do kniw, it's a bit like apple & oranges, just round are both .

Apart from that, and only on a very hypothetical, humble perspective, my favored
Tourbillion from JLC would be the Gyro 1, (followed by the Reverso one)..

Sorry for the lengthy dwelling,
- just felt that way about these 2 cents..

Best, hs

I first have to repeat that, with some very few exceptions, I don't l ike Tourbillons on the dial side, when they make a " hole " in the dial. I much prefer them being part of the dial, I mean without hole, or in the back side. Here is a typical case of t...

The Breguet Boutique is worth several visits. The Museum even more.

Difficlut to compare this Breguet and the JLC Master Tourbillon, this last one being automatic and modern. The style and the finish are different, too. Although, the prices are similar, on the market. The Gyro One is another league. And a totally differen...

Thx for the kind explanations.. Illucidates areas, I don't have experience nor knowledge..

.. and if I am honest, I mainly have been able to comment my newbie's feelings - for this complication(s), if we separate it out again, " regular"/ standard Tourbi vs Gyro- Tourbi, which of course is another league, are often combined with other complicat...

I prefer this one in all white metal

Had one on at the boutique many years ago. I agree with you. The size is really beautiful. I like the engraving on the back. It is a beautiful watch. If I were getting a Breguet tourby, this reference, or the skeleton perp tourby with the combo colors are...

The spiritual home of the tourbillon

And I like these open dialed versions very much. The platinum with rose gold two-tone case is interesting and not to my taste, but the engraving is beautiful and ads a lot to the 'royalty' of the tourbillon in the Breguet range. And at 36mm this is quite ...

I don't know if this makes any sense but it actually looks like an extremely polished and refined attempt by an independent... and is all the better for it!! I love that it does not look "big brand" at all; which hammers home the "hand-made-ness" of it.

Beautiful this watch makes sens.

In that period where there were very few high end watches and tourbillon were rare, the job done was fantastic: case, dial, caliber with nice engraving, the historical sense. This watch has some "substance" than most watches had in this period ... Thanks ...
