.. and if I am honest, I mainly have been able to comment my newbie's feelings
- for this complication(s), if we separate it out again, " regular"/ standard Tourbi vs Gyro- Tourbi,
which of course is another league, are often combined with other complications and as
you've patiently outlined.
Only thing, one can say, that there is great & honest admiration for the creation,
and manufacturing processes & vs the people, who often are artisans ;
A lot and often by hand they design, develop, and handle with knowledge these
pieces of horology.
Thanks again, for highIighting this terrain,
which, apart from the rather mundane basic principles, still is
mostly "Terra incognita " for me.
Interesting, indeed -
Best, hs

Breguet Tourbillon Ref 3450, a sweet candy.

I first have to repeat that, with some very few exceptions, I don't l ike Tourbillons on the dial side, when they make a " hole " in the dial. I much prefer them being part of the dial, I mean without hole, or in the back side. Here is a typical case of t...
The Breguet Boutique is worth several visits. The Museum even more.

Difficlut to compare this Breguet and the JLC Master Tourbillon, this last one being automatic and modern. The style and the finish are different, too. Although, the prices are similar, on the market. The Gyro One is another league. And a totally differen...
I prefer this one in all white metal

Had one on at the boutique many years ago. I agree with you. The size is really beautiful. I like the engraving on the back. It is a beautiful watch. If I were getting a Breguet tourby, this reference, or the skeleton perp tourby with the combo colors are...
The spiritual home of the tourbillon
By: AndrewD : April 13th, 2014-04:53
And I like these open dialed versions very much. The platinum with rose gold two-tone case is interesting and not to my taste, but the engraving is beautiful and ads a lot to the 'royalty' of the tourbillon in the Breguet range. And at 36mm this is quite ...

I don't know if this makes any sense but it actually looks like an extremely polished and refined attempt by an independent... and is all the better for it!! I love that it does not look "big brand" at all; which hammers home the "hand-made-ness" of it.
Beautiful this watch makes sens.

In that period where there were very few high end watches and tourbillon were rare, the job done was fantastic: case, dial, caliber with nice engraving, the historical sense. This watch has some "substance" than most watches had in this period ... Thanks ...
